The Work-Based Learning Program is for WA State students aged 16 - 21 with an IEP or a 504 Plan or diagnosed disability. Students will work in competitive, integrated, real work settings.

* Customer Service
* Inventory Control
* Library Assistant
* Small Animal Caretakers
* Large Animal Caretakers

Skills for School and Beyond Workshop

Training to help WA State students aged 14 - 21 acquire or enhance commonly expected skills employers seek from most employees.

TOPICS for Workshop #1:
* Identifying Learning Styles
* Managing Time
* Managing Stress
* Problem Solving Techniques
* Problem Solving in School
* Problem Solving on the Job
* Understanding Non-Verbal Communication
* Listening Critically
* Speaking Respectively
* Improving Well-Being 

DETAILS
* Workshops are conducted on Tuesday (3:45 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.) and Thursday (3:45 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.) for 3 weeks.
* In addition to the training, each workshop will also include a Job Site Tour and Informational Interview based on the student’s areas of vocational interest.
* Workshops will be offered in various locations based on student enrollment.

GGYO Summer Workshops
